L19Ah, when do you usually play and how long does it take?
I'd really like to play multiplayer but my schedule and timing are rather restricted.

About GMT 17-22 on weekdays, anything goes on weekends. A few hours; we save the game if anyone has to go.

The stockpile tech doesn't seem to be very useful unless you're Sly or in other situations where direct supply is impossible, that are quite rare. OTOH, it makes your empire much harder to crush by severing the supply connections to key shipyards.

Did you or somebody else make use of it "in the wild"? I had the feeling that usually the stockpile limit is so low that its not helping much in building warships.

@L29Ah, can you give as more detailed feedback on this? Because, as far as I understand, the IS shouldn't have that severe of an impact, at least not for "normal" empires. All those restrictions on the IS have been put into place to avoid exactly this: that it would become too easy to counter supply-line-cutting strategies.

No, i never played as Sly yet, i'm just kinda thrilled about the forthcoming encounter vs Voker57 playing as Sly (
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0). It should provide about a hundred of PP per turn, as far as i understood the mechanics, that means i can't leave any planet w/ a shipyard just with one frigate to keep the supply lines and maybe defenses in check.

That sounds as if your statement regarding empires being harder to crush by cutting supply lines to key shipyards applies to a Sly empire, not to all empires in general.
That however would be ok and mean things work as intended.
So, when you said "it makes your empire much harder to crush by severing the supply connections to key shipyards", did you mean all empires in general, or stockpiling empires (like Sly)?

Kraken is a joke on L29Ah always spawning with ample megafauna nests.
Radon are called replicons now, I believe.
