I worked in the 0.4.8 version I used before.

Re: Robotic shield does not work on Spatial Flux Bubble hull
I was wrong.
The Grav Hull does receive shield from it's group: Then, the bug is that "Spatial Flux Bubble" Hull is listed in Robotics line.

Flux Bubble is "robotic" in the sense that it requires Robotic Production. However, Robotic Interface Shields is researched in Military Robotic Production, and is not inherited by this hull.
Re: Robotic shield does not work on Spatial Flux Bubble hull
You mention 2 possible resolutions.
But there is also possibility to change dependency between techs.
Make that hull dependent from military robotics.

And that gives ship partdefaultuser wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:51 pm Robotic Interface Shields is researched in Military Robotic Production
Nowhere is said that this ship part should be incompatible with previous robotic hull(s). Moreover directly opposite is said, that this ship part should work with robotic hulls.
I.e. that "inherited by the hull" is your hypothesis, not the game authors intent.

Yes. you can see my picture in this thread, there robotic hulls was carrying shield generators to create a large common shield. With space bubbles i will receive/achieve the same at cheaper cost.

Ok, but could you develop on why you think it is unbalanced for robotic hulls to not have earlier and cheaper ships with internal slots?
No body pointed that out before. Many have stated that they think shields (all of them) are too costly to be worth (to be revisited with next targetting scheme), but that is another issue. Should we make robotic ships cheaper, would this make other hull lines underpowered? Some number crunching to support your impressions would be helpful.
PS: if it is a matter of personal preference, you can edit the FOCS files as per your desires and make new cheaper hulls, reduce cost of existing ones or whatever.
