It's better to change python universe generation script as it doesn't lead to desync FOCS content on the server and clients.

Does anybody who wants to play have to use official builds and/or is on Windows/MacOS?

Playtesting is not something done with slowgames.
But of course it is. The slow game multiplayer is basically the current freeorion QA department.
Sad story but I don't wanna waste days playing code that changes under my feet and nobody really tested before, and you will only know the bug when you hit it after several weeks of gameplay.

For no honeycomb and ruins, let's play no specials in ancient galaxy (to nerf phototrophic) plus something to nerf Trith? I think there is a PR for that somewhere (Voker57's, IIRC).

I'd like very much to play ring for a single-winner game. Being in the center of a galaxy without clear alliances is a PITA.

Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.

Furthermore, I propse... we should default to four combat rounds instead of three ...for the good of playerkind.
