I believe that I had again the Popular Terraforming bug, on a planet whose population died after having rebelled.
Wasn't it supposed to have been fixed ?

No military Species either.
Considering that we play with low Natives, it's a bit of a risky gambit...

Was tempted to pick up my former darlings Scylior. I really enjoyed playing them in Single player before 5.0 or actually before playing multiplayer. I guess MP ruined them for me ;) I played them a bit afterwards and eh, probably would have more mileage from Chato.

Most strategic sense at this point would probably be picking Etty or even Eaxaw, as LR is alluding to. But figured I'll take Replicon for a spin. We'll see. At least there's diversity in beloved envrionments and metabolisms.

I can raise Natives.
I don't know a lot of military natives Mu Ursh are hard to use for big ships, misiorla need ancient ruins and luck. I don't think raising natives will change a lot.
No military Species either.
I think military species are hard to play. Etty have bad industry, Fluver narrow tolerance, Eaxaw are xenophob...
I don't choose any of the military species because that one level better weapons don't counter the disadvantage in my opinion. Maybe that could be something to balance sometimes.

Gentoo Linux x64, gcc-11.2, boost-1.78.0
Ubuntu Server 22.04 x64, gcc-12, boost-1.74.0

Test games get an AI which always seems to be Abaddoni called Hegemony. Generally to make things livelier/have a peek how AI is doing with the settings. Actual game doesn't get that AI (so e.g. resulting galaxy will be smaller as number of systems is per player)

After snap will be ready I'll restart test game with weekly test build 2023-11-14.0c4f49b and day after I'll start actual game.
